COMMUNTIY CAR ASSOCIATION
(CCA)
The Community Car Association was formally launched at the PKCTG Annual Meeting on 27th June 2008. The event was attended by John Swinney MSP who voiced his support for the work the
voluntary sector undertakes.
Groups and individuals that provide transport to and from medical centres, surgeries and hospitals
provide a valuable Community Service. PKCTG have developed a Community Car Association for those who provide this type of
service. If you would like to meet others that supply voluntary transport, please contact PKCTG.
The Community
Car Association is there to support the service you provide and can help with issues such as public liability insurance, risk
management, funding and volunteer recruitment.
Community Car Association matters
are discussed at PKCTG meetings which are held six times a year. Please refer to the events calendar on this website,
where the dates are provided.
