CARSE OF GOWRIE
Feel
Good & Make a Difference!
That’s
what over 650 volunteers already do in Perth and Kinross!
Providing voluntary transport for those in need, brings many rewards and you could be part of it!
Volunteer drivers and co-ordinators would be welcomed here
in this Community!
Volunteer drivers………………….
· Give as much time as they can
· Use their own car and receive re-imbursement for their fuel
· Ensure that people in their Community access medical appointments, opportunities and participate
in Society.
Volunteer Drivers
really make a difference!
Volunteer Coordinators are also needed to match the passenger with the driver – we can help with administration
costs and have resources available to help!
Why not become
part of this valuable service?

WOULD YOU LIKE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE ?
Perth Accesscars need volunteers!
This organisation is a registered charity
and supports those not able to access public or private transport. This type of transport enables individuals to participate
in society and access health and well being opportunities, for example, medical appointments, clubs and organisations
and shopping trips. As a volunteer you will not drive your own vehicle but one supplied by Accesscars.
If you have
time to spare and want to make a difference, please call PKCTG on 01577 866766 or Evelyn on 01738 639134 for further
details.
Could you help a local support group?
A support group offering group activities
and respite for young carers are desperate for help!
A minibus driver, who
must be happy to undertake disclosure checks (free of charge) is needed to transport young people from outlying areas, into
Perth, one evening, once a fortnight.
Please contact either PKCTG or Stuart
MacFarlane on 01738 567076 if you feel you can help!
If you are interested in Volunteering, a Volunteer Street Market will take place in Perth on the 21st June 2008.
At the Market you will meet many organisations who are looking for volunteers. PKCTG will also have a table at the event,
so why not say hello and see if your skills can help someone less fortunate!
Volunteers drivers make a valuable contribution to their communities, ensuring that those in need
have the opportunity to access essential services and participate in Society.
Volunteering rewards the Volunteer with the knowledge that they have "made a difference!"
If you are interested in becoming a Volunteer Driver,
please contact PKCTG who will be happy to provide more information. We look forward to hearing from you!
